Let's play with dirt... Let's make TERRARIUM!

A terrarium is a collection of small plants growing in a transparent, sealed container. As early as 500 BC, plants were kept under bell-shaped glass jars for exhibit. But the terrarium in its modern form was invented by accident in 1827 by Nathaniel Ward, a London doctor.

I didn't know about these until I read it in a blog post here.

If you want to create your own, it isn’t hard to do. You can get some plants from a local nursery or as close as your own mini-garden!

Simple Materials:
  • Glass container (with or without a lid)
  • Small decorative pebbles
  • Potting soil
  • Live Moss
  • Terrarium plants (small shade loving plants)
  • Potting shovel
  • Water

Product Safety Guide

Whenever we buy any household product, we should follow its care instructions. This will not only make the product long lasting but sometimes can also save from hazardous situations specially with kitchten products.

Recently my mother bought some new plastic containers. But she was confused which one to use in microwave and which ones are actually food safe. So after long hours of discussions I decided to look for the Care Symbols and their meaning and mail her.

Just a thought; if my mother can get confuse with these,
similarly many of us don't know correct meanings of the symbols.
So here I am sharing some common ones.
The care symbols are protected trademarks in most countries.

For Utensils and Food related Products

For Garments and other Textile Products

 Hope this helped many.
