Postage Stamps!

In the world of Emails, SMS, BBMs, Facebook, Twitter...we have forgotten our postal services. Well we do need it for a few official works, but that's when we 'NEED' it, else almost everything can be done on Internet. And with this amazing Postal Service, we forgot those beautiful postage stamps. Started with my maternal-aunts in their childhood, I continued to update that red stamp collection book. This reminded me while using US Postal Service. Around the world, different countries have different designs and layouts of postage stamps. Just thought of looking at some of the Indian Postage Stamps. There is a huge list of Indian postage stamps, see here. While searching for this post. I came across this amazing link which showcase stamps in India year by year, see here.

Moroccon Style

Since I am living here in USA, I have become a big fan of HGTV, Home & Garden Television. I love all, ALL the programs and designers. I watch it the whole day, even the repeats! You can say I am addicted to it ;)
Well, recently I have since a lot of Moroccan Architecture and Style. It's the new 'in' thing in home decor. So thought my friends might like it. Moroccan Style is a new Trend in decoration. Infact right now too my HGTV is on, and they just showed a Moroccan makeover of a living room. So here are some pictures that might inspire you for some projects.

note: all pictures are from google images

products inspired by Moroccan Style

starting with the architecture...

then the Door...

then come the walls, tile

real stylish ones too...

Casa Loma, Toronto

May 2011...
Experience the royal life of a bygone era at Toronto's renowned Casa Loma It was originally a residence for financier Sir Henry Mill Pellatt. Pellatt lived as the richest man of Canada and died being a penny-less poor guy, and the Castle shows it all. He started to build the castle in his glorious days but couldn't complete it. Now Casa Loma is an incomplete home museum. Lets have a sneak-peak into the castle.
